Since becoming CEO, Ian has led LRQA through a bold transformation, strengthening its position as a trusted partner to more than 61,000 clients in over 150 countries. He has driven cultural renewal to make LRQA more client-focused and innovation-led, expanded its global footprint through strategic acquisitions, and accelerated digital and AI-enabled solutions.
Ian brings more than 30 years of international experience in business assurance, consulting and sustainability, with leadership roles across Asia, Europe and the US. He has partnered with some of the world’s largest companies, as well as governments, NGOs and trade unions, to address business, safety, quality, environmental and social challenges.
Before becoming CEO, Ian founded ELEVATE, a world-class risk and sustainability solutions firm acquired by LRQA in 2022, and held senior leadership roles at Sears Holdings, KPMG and BSR.
